Ok, so I keep flip flopping on what detector to get, but need to make up my mind in the next couple days. I was originally set on getting a Whites M6, but have read a lot of good comments about the G2. For those that have used or are using the G2, have you experienced any problems?

Also, it seems there are a few sellers of detectors from popular companies on this forum, so feel free to send me a PM with G2 price. Thanks.

Coin the G2 is an amazing coin machine in trash or heavy iron. Give me a call for questions or for best price out! Thanks, Bart.

I could say its to fun, easy, light, fast, quiet or
TID is spot on , or its great in iron. all true.

The down side .There is no notch feature. No back light.

Give me more time to think ,there must be something else. :dontknow:

teknetics are good detectors...build quality is the only thing i had issues with. ive had 4 of them,t2se,g2,omega 8000,delta 4000. 3 of them had build quality issues out of the box.. 2 were handles were crooked on the shafts, and 1 of them 2 also had coil cable nut was stripped and would not tighten down...the last one had a short in the head unit.. sometimes unit would freeze up and after messing with it i found that if i slightly push head unit toward coil all would start working fine again. my nephew bought the delta 4000 and head unit was very loose..oh yeah on one of them the holes in the lower shaft was drilled crooked as the coil was very crooked when the little clips were locked into the holes. i do think the units work very good at finding goodies.

That sounds bad for Tenetics detectors......... Could make one's buy a different brand......

yeah your right... ive never had a build quality issue with whites, garrett, tesoro., thats the main reason i sold them.. the customer service was great, i called them every time and they just kept sending me new parts no questions asked. they were light weight and felt good to swing all day. i just got tired of crooked parts..onr thing that really worried me was how flimsy the display was when trying to unplug the coil wire. i was sure that was the next thing to break on me. as great as they worked on finding goodies, i didnt like the bounty hunter feel.
