I found 2 of them at an old foundation in PA. From peddle to peddle its about 2in across, on the inside of the thing there are 4 ridges that stick up a bit almost like something sat on them. On the top part of 3 of the peddles it says PAT JUNE 1910. and i just now noticed on the stem its got screw threads. any help on these would be great thanks.

I believe they are indeed candle holders. They probably unthreaded for ease of cleaning/removing old melted wax when candle fully burnt down. Just a guess.
