✅ SOLVED Any idea? Pat June 30 1908

Found these today very close together and I'm just curious what they may have been. I can clearly read PAT JUNE 30 1908 on the middle section. There about 3 1/4" long and just under 1 1/4" wide at the widest point. Gave a good sound, possibly brass?? To me for some reason they almost look like something to hold music sheets or something. Let me know if you've seen these before, Thanks. HH
