Would like to get help with ID-ing something

Any idea what this empire state building model is built from?? What is it called? some sort of puzzles / building blocks/clips.



Can those be bought somewhere?

Looks like one of the cardboard puzzle / model kits. I'd try Hobby Lobbys website or some of the bigger hobby shops. I remember seeing one of the White House that was paper bonded to thin wood. Looked impressive in the glass case.

I don't know what its made from, but I do know the guy in the middle is truly fascinated by it.

Thanks for your reply. I looked for different puzzles but can not find anything like that. I think it is metal not cardboard.

Razor Blades maybe?? The Guy on the left from AM.Pickers is thinking "Gotcha".

for me, it looks like some sort of metal puzzles that slide into each other. there is US engraved on each so I assume they are made in the USA. somebody must know what they are
