Not a blasting cap. Kinda resembles a land mine fuse. What country was it found in.

It was found in Alabama. I think the area has been mined before hope we can get more pics to post as we are both new to this have a few questions.

Hi corygoldfever.... I'm in Alabama also.. In south central Alabama in Shelby county.. If you don't mind me asking, what part are you in?? BTW, cool find but I have no idea as I'm new to this hobby too.. Welcome aboad.. :occasion14:

Ok so IF it is a light bulb that would probably means a house was close by at one point right? Wouldn't that mean it was some one pretty wealthy as I don't see many in this area being able to afford such luxury. I thing it is still to heavy tho as it feels like lead around the two wires.
