Any idea what this is?

I found this today in a tree lawn up in the avenues. It's got "armour of righteousness" on the top of the side with the shield, but I can't read the writing on the bottom. The reverse side is a relief of a bust of a woman in glass. It's gold or at least gilded. I has the angel that's on all of the temples, so I'm pretty confident that it's related to the church. Anyone know what this is? Or how old it is?
