Any idea what this is?

My Grandfather found this in one of his fields in Northwest Ohio several years ago. No one has been able to identify it so far. Any thoughts?

I have to agree. I see no evidence of it ever being altered by man. That was formed by natural erosion.

It is a good looking nicely polished stone, I agree. But you have a clue now since a number of us have given you our opinion that it is natural.

Keep in mind, we are human and dealing with pictures isn't always the best, but you are also dealing with guys who have looked at oodles of artifacts, and geofacts, and not one has called it an artifact...... AND, as you said, no one has been able to identify it yet, that's another big clue that it is likely nothing that can be identified as a known artifact type.
