Hide scraper?

Hide scraper?

I think so, I've just never seen one like it if that's what it is. Does anyone think this is NOT worked?

Definitely worked. You can see the fine small sharpening knap marks. Gorgeous material

Nice find. Congrats

Thanks Yall, I have another thread with some other stuff coming out of this private unsearched land, its in todays finds.. I dont photo all of it but this place is loaded with flakes, I am pretty sure its not been searched before, It takes about 40 mins to hike in there and its never been open to public or close to a modern road. I found this area when looking for morel mushrooms, there are some caves and overhanging bluffs as well, but hey this is the ozarks that stuff is everywhere... I have never even seen any kind of modern trash once I get about half way there.

Thumb scraper made from Reed Springs flint. Fairly common and high quality material. Nice find. Gary
