any ideas guys??

hey fellas. hadn't been glass hunting in awhile until this morning. found where a firebreak had been made around some old house places. there were lots of bottles, but none really that old. found a couple large letter hobble skirts that were broken. did find 2 small letter ones and brought them home.
anyway, I found this blue glass thing that i'm not sure of. I thought it was a Christmas light at first, but it's not. it looks like it had some kinda rubber piece on the stem at one time. so maybe it's a top or cap to some kinda bottle. any ideas and help would be greatly appreciated! and I did find a small Hoyt's perfumer from Memphis,Tn. thanks guys and HH!
