Found this in a wooded area far off the beaten path. It was near a creek and you could see where the limestone had been drilled out in areas and rock hauled away. . Seems a little big for a bullet.

looks like a 45 70 round....its that big because the bullet isnt seated........its a hollow point.....those grooves is what called the rifleing.....
