Found this today on a civil war skirmish site. Any thoughts. The piece on the upper right has me scratching my head . I think the piece on the lower right is horse furniture ?

What is the thing in the top right corner made of? Looks like part of a scabbard tip. Not sure from pic. Nice hunt

It's solid bronze ? Not hollow like a scabbard tip. Almost stamped ? Has that old green look to it.
