Any minelab users?

Hey people! Any of you use a minelab? I just bought a used Explorer II and was wondering if anyone nearby (Pittsburg) has experience with the machine. Maybe we could get together and you could show me how to use the thing. I'm doing OK with it, though need someone who knows the detector to speed things up.

Can't help I just got my X-terra 70 yesterday. I suspect they do not work well in 6 to 8 inches of snow.

Order the book " Mastering the Minelab Explorer XS & S " by Andy Sabisch. It is a great book and will get you started off right. Don't let the title fool you, it applies to the Exp II which I have and use. ( DFX also )

E-Trac the best detector I have ever owned. I have detected for 30 years tired a lot of different detectors. I like it the best

I have had the E-Trac for about a year and its the Minelab to have in my opinion. I still carry my ExpII and DFX for backup though.

my Etrac should be here tomorrow. we've got a little too much snow right now. that gives me plenty of time to read though

Hey sniff! Did you get your etrac yet? When it gets warm out again lets meet up somewhere between us and hit an old park or two, just to see how good that thing is.

I sure did, I got it yesterday. been playing with it figuring out what works where and how to get to the program I want
