Any quick fix

besides, wood I'm looking for the wooden one. I widowed last time....good to have spare detectors lie-ing around the house....just running out of clevises....

read a post on whites forum.. guy says he has used steel bolt.. they null out and the Machine ignores them with no performance issues.. only reason to use plastic is weight savings.. Think about it.. the pin does not move within the field..

What is the subject? Coil to rod hardware?

For Garrett I think it's 3/8 and you can get a pair of nylon toilet seat bolts and nuts for a couple of bucks anywhere, even Walmart

For Fisher, I think it's a 1/4 and you can get those individually at Lowes or Home Depot a lot cheaper than original. Of course they're not exactly the same , but doesn't bother me.
