Any rumors of new whites metal detectors being released?

I am just curious I've heard rumors from other forums that whites may release a replacement to the DFX coming this summer. Is this true.

No way would they replace the dfx already. Wayyyy to good a seller. I was at the factory friday before last, and I asked about any thing new on the horizon, and the engineer said they were working on some things but nothing in the near future. Guess they wouldn't tell me anyway. Who knows. If you ever have the chance to go there, take it. You could spend hours looking at things that the white's and others have found since the early days. Way cool. There is this old pirate-looking pistol all covered in coral and stuff, I told the guy that there was no way I could leave it like that if it were mine. He just laughed. Great people, excellant service. They always check my md and coils, and pinpoiter for free when I am in the area. Plus he gives me current and back issues of md mags.

My dealer told me when I bought my M6 at the end of January, not to expect anything new before the end of the year IHHO. I didn't want to buy the M6 and have a better model come out any where close. I haven't got to use the M6 much, but looks to have a lot of promise.
