Hey guys, I haven't posted in this section before but thought you guys might know best.

I really like the designs on some copper/silver bullion rounds and was wondering if there was any value in them above melt? I'm talking about things like the SBSS or ones with special designs on them. Obviously there is the "collector value" but is there a specific company/artist/design that has proven to maintain it's numis value?

Here is an ex: 1oz John Galt 999 Fine Proof Silver Atlas Shrugged Ayn Rand Round Medallion | eBay

It's a 1oz silver John Galt round. Obviously I'm not going to pay $50, but lets say I secured a roll of them for like $25 an oz... do you guys think that investment would pay off more than just getting a roll of ASE's?

Same goes for copper rounds, any collector value in the long run?

Thanks y'all

Some do some don't, example. I bought a roll of 1/10 ounce Engelhard Prospectors for $200 and 2 years later I sold the roll for over $500, interesting enough I bought them when silver was higher then when I sold. If I knew how much of a premium they sold for I would have bought every one they had.

In general, the no name ones like the "John Galt" ones will have no premium in the future. However, certain brand name bars and rounds (Engelhard, Credit Suisse, etc.) may have a premium if you sell it to the right guy.
