Relic Hunting
I have purchased an Infinium recently. I have only used it in salt water so far but I plan on giving it a try at an old civil war camp site that I have hunted for years when I go home for Christmas. I will post my results then.

I can guess that I will have the following issues that I hope to be able to work through and here is how I plan on doing it.

1. There is a significant amount of iron at the Civil War site and I know that since the PI machine loves iron, I will most likely be digging a good bit. I hope to conquer this in two ways. First I plan on attempting to use reverse discrimination techniques to determine if Iron is my target or if I have a good target. Secondly, I plan on taking along my Sovereign Elite to get second opinions if possible. The PI should be much deeper than the Sovereign but if the item is a larger piece of iron deep, the Sovereign should be able to tell me that. If the item is iron, the Sovereign will let me know. If it is deeeeep silver beyond the Sovereigns eyes, the PI should see it even if the Sovereign doesn't.

I believe using this tandem pair should really get me some good finds. I know the site has some really deep stuff there because the soil was disturbed just after the war and some items that I have found there in the past with my Whites Spectrum were really deep.

Anyway, I will post when that hunt is done either Thanksgiving or Christmas or both depending if I get home for Thanksgiving.

Take Care,

Jim
