Anybody have any idea what this could be?

was searching a revolutionary war site today and found this in the ground with a old rusty nail.Im pretty sure its copper. im thinking it might have been to a old house but i dont know.

its about the size of a plate. and the other side looks exactly the same

It appears to be "flattened" so I still think it's a crumb tray but I'm by no means an expert so I'll keep an eye on the thread to see what others think.

Search Google images and you'll see a variety of them which include copper and even hammered ones.

I would be happy to find it no matter what it turns out to be.
