Just found this site, but it seems nobody uses it anymore, no posts since last year. Would be nice to chat with local detectorists. I live on the Gold Coast in Queensland, would be nice to have someone local to chat to. Had over 60 viiews so far, but not one reply.

I've been looking far and wide for someone in the Perth area to go out somewhere with... I'm just visiting for 8 days. But not a bit of luck anywhere.

Thanks for the reply Natas, I think this is a ghost site now, gives you the impression nobody is detecting anymore. I spend a lot of time on Treasure Net now, so much info on there, on every aspect of detecting. Never been to Perth, but hear it is a really nice city. I am getting a new Sand Shark in a couple of days, cant wait to give that a try on the beach.
