✅ SOLVED Anybody know what this piece is?

Doing some sandbar searching today and found this unusual piece. This segment measures just over two inches long, by roughly 3/4 of an inch in diameter, and has a slight curve to it.
It is quite light in weight for its size, and does not seem to be very hard. I can't tell if it is some sort of rock, or some sort of pottery, a fossil of some sort ??
