I purchased one a few years ago and used it a couple of times and it got filed in the closet.
Due to lack of experience with detectors I quickly got frustrated with the random beeping for and spent a lot of time digging only junk.
Well I recently decided to take it out of the closet and "LEARN" it.
After reading some of the threads on this and other forums I think I have gotten much better with it.
I was going to upgrade to a newer one hoping the technology was more refined but I keep reading about people still using their older models with good success. SO my question;
How does this detector compare with some of the newer ones out there?
