That one is most likely a Counterfeit, and Probably you get what you pay for.

I wouldn't expect to get a new one for under $100.
Even on sale.

oops :tongue3: Fooled me. I thought it as a Garrett :tongue3:

Well maybe not a Counterfeit, But the Price doesn't give it much Confidence.

But I eat Generic food all the time.
if it is just a Generic Garrett made by the same Company.
I'd like to see a review.

and Generic Batteries are good

The key is that it says it ships to the United States and other countries. So likely a cheap import knockoff.

Im sure it will work ive been using 20 dollar one from harbor freight for over a year. yeah you have to shake it once and awhile and I tore it apart and tuned it at first would only hit a coin it touched..for 50 bucks let me know if ya get one i might be on board too

Cheap clone, you get what you deserve if you buy one which is frustration then a useless hunk of junk.

Don't think counterfeit so much as a knockoff. All they have to do is change the circuit board enough to not violate a patent or copyright. My big worry would be if they were using rejected components or at the least stuff that was just a little iffy when they hit the test bench.

I don't think China has to worry about any patent violations..
