IM FROM BELLEVILLE. GO TO THE LOCAL LIBRARY. ST. CLAIR COUNTY IS THE OLDEST COUNTY IN ILLINOIS, ALOT OF HISTORY. WHILE YOU ARE THERE LOOK UP OLD CARNIVAL, FAIRS, OR FESTIABLES. I TALKED TO A OLD MAN IN O'FALLON IL. HE REMEMBERS A OLD FAIR OR CARNIVAL ECT. OUTSIDE ALTON. HE WAS A KID AT THIS TIME 20'S OR EARLY '30'S HE SAID THEY A SMALL TRAIN THAT USED A OLD RAILROAD TRACK TO TAKE THE PEOPLE OUTSIDE TROY TO THE FAIR. IF YOU COULD FIND THAT IT WOULD BE A GOOD PLACE TO HUNT.
