Anyone here own a Minelab Elite that they use

I was wondering if anyone uses a Minelab Elite Detector. I just purchased one and I was wondering what type of luck did you have with it. And is it a real hard detector to operate, thanks.

I've had one since they were new, I've owned 4 detectors. I mainly use the elite, but I cherry pick with a Tesoro. Just remember,,,,,low and slow. Oh and carry a good digger.

Don't forget ol' peg leg red and Dixie Digger,, we both use the elite
on the beaches and inland,, beach set-up >> Elite, S-12 coil, and jolly roger
headphones,,,, Best set-up there is period !!! Get a sturdy digger

Yep this is a great set up..i hip mount all 3 of mine..Elite,GT w/S12 coil and Excal ll all on Pluggers strait shafts!

Dixie, I make my own st. shafts,,, out of
the alum. tubing that supports boat canvass tops,
and pvc pipe ( easy as a pig is greasy** ) on the inside
of the cuff I glue in 1/2 foam can huggy for confort ..
I also hip mount...
One good TIP >>> when you buy extra coils also get the lower
shafts for each coil,,, makes it simple to change coils,,
