Anyone in Okinawa???

I'm going to Okinawa Japan in Oct/Nov 2010 for a couple of years, I'd like to meet some new people to detect with. I'm wanting to try some beach or shallow water hunting and will come heavily equipped for the occasion. I'm sure I can find someone when I get there, but wanted to get a heads up on what to expect prior to dragging everything over. There's got to be someone... either a GI or a contractor like myself that frequents this site.

I've heard that it's a beautiful place, and if my wife wants to stay, chances are we could stay there a LOOOONNNNGGGGG time.

After some digging around online, I found another guy who recently started detecting over there (he hasn't responded to my post). According to what this guy was posting, it seems very much like a virgin area. I really think I'm going to enjoy all that beach hunting... with or without a hunting partner.

That video sure looks like what I'm reading about.... lots of finds, and QUALITY finds at that. I saved his channel on my youtube account, so now I can see more of his videos.

I'm starting to get excited now....
