I found this piece a few weeks ago in a watchmakers drawer at an auction. I just am not sure on the age or the purpose of this badge or pin. It measures 1.25" tall, is 1" wide, and has two shanks on the back. I can't find any makers marks on the item, just the E Pluribus Unum on the front.
