Take a close look at the adjustment wheel it very often has a patent date

Cleaned it up a little a name is there

Don't want to rub it to much and lose the name. I can see a couple stars and e -m & co .....can read what it says above and small toward center yet

I can see letters NUS on the top may say Venus

Try a pencil rubbing you might bring out the letters I mean paper over wheel then rub pencil back and forth it should bring out the high spots.(letters)

Heres the one i found last week, i'll have to look at the adjustment wheel to see if i see writing on mine..
