The front has a pentagram with Te Tra Gram Ma Ton around it

The back has 2 angels on either side of a double cross in the center

The Cross looks to be that used by the Eastern Orthodox Church

cant wait to see what this is :icon_scratch:

I know that Deep Purple's first LP was on the Tetragramaton Records label. I'm sure this word has a meaning outside of that but I have no idea what it is. I'm a record collector not a linguistics expert!

i would like to explain what it means but i am not going back to the site where i got the virus. Lets put it this way the coin belongs in the religion section which then would cause a fire storm. :o

LOL, I think I found the same site. Looks like some kind of good luck charm or something to ward off evil spirits or something along those lines. I don't know how strange it would be in this day in age but in the 1600's it would have gotten a little warm at the stake you got tied to for having it...cool find no matter what. HH Charlie

ok now how old is it :icon_scratch:

first grand matron in calif was after 1935?
it could have followed someone who migrated to calif.

Weird find, that's for sure. Just noticed that this is my 666th post, SPOOKY!

The medal's reverse appears to display the Cross of Caravaca.

making a cross wit my fingars

Hey All once again thank you very much. It is indeed I feel a masonic medallion. Will have too ask a mason too see when they where last used.
