NEL Superfly coil purchased for my Apex. The Superfly produced considerable improved performance in depth and pin pointing over the factory Raider coil in my test garden. Took the new coil to the beach today. Oh boy crash and burn! I couldn't get the coil within 6 inches of the sand without the detector going nuts, wet and dry beach sand. All settings and combination of settings tried. Back home and the Superfly coil is back to working great. The new 1.28 software update has been installed. Any ideas?
