April Fool's Hunt

Hope everyone's day was good to them. I swung the old detector a couple times today when I took the dogs out. Found what I think may be a little pewter button with a drilled shank. I posted on What Is It, but after 43 views, no replies. Either those people don't know or don't care, lol. Figured I would see if anyone knows here. Thanks for looking.

Well it looks like pewter from the pic, or some sort of pot metal, sorry can't give ya an age, I'm sure someone here will

Looks old to me OD. The ones we find here generally show a lot of ground action. HH, Q.
 

I didn't even know they made pewter buttons. Just another reason why this hobby never gets old. Thanks for sharing!
