I did little field hunt yesterday. Find some nice bale seals and some coppers. Nothin special old though. Oldest coin is 5 penniä 1888. Also russian copec from 191? but it is in very bad shape. Last week I was abroad. Finland is very poor for fossil hunters so I have to go little more south. There I did some good fossil finds. I found cephalopod called Estonioceras at last. Here it is in my table next to Halycites-coral and some Aland trilobites in the back. Some gastropods, trilobite pygidiums, tabulate corals (Favosites, Halycites, Catenipora), orthoceras, endoceras etc. Also I was able to purchase two nice clay pipes that were found from the Pernau river, Estonia.

Thanks. Now there is fossils :) :)

Nice post! The lead seals are German. I should take up fossil hunting as we have a good area to find them here in Germany. HH, Mike

Nice to see these fossil finds ! ........ they're the 1st Paleozoic examples I've ever seen in this daily general "Todays finds" blog. .....and we metal diggers all think Roman coins and such are ancient. Well , I suppose they are , but these fossils have them beat by about , let's see , .........about 400 million years or so, + or - !!!

Interesting fossils and pipes...congrats !

:icon_thumleft: :icon_thumleft: :icon_thumleft: Awesome stuff. Wish I could find a clay pipe that wasn't in pieces.
