Just wondering. I have seen two types in pictures. One has a more orange handle, and the other red.
One has "for digging use only" stamped on the blade, and looks more "rounded"(but not MUCH)

Mine is called the 'L85?' I think...

Did they change at any point?

I asked George Lesche this question, but didn't get a straight answer...

here are some pics of the one I have been using for about 6 years now.

Just got an email from George. (please pray for him,he is in bad health) Apparently, this is one of his father's original designs, and when he "split" with the company, and they formed "Predator Tools",the design was changed slightly...
(and in my opinion, the quality looks better..)
The one I have is the "Lesche Tools"version., which is still being produced.
The "new" "Predator" version has the bird logo and the "for digging use only" stamp on the blade.

I don't know, but I got a black handled one. And the difference being is the handle is smooth. I don't like it as such--like the grooved handle so I can get a grip in moist soil.
Never knew they made more than one, but I definitely own two different ones in that respect.
