POSTED HERE A FEW WEEKS AGO...young guy i work with is really cleaning up, he found this axe head yesterday,guess that's what it is.arrowhead today. he is trying to get out as much as he can before the crops are plantted. any idea how old and what it is....he is ate up with hunting now.he is been finding 1or 2 arrowheads every day for the pass 3 weeks. i told him to many secrets,he keeps this up and he is go in to pass my collection ;D

I agree, a bannerstone preform and much more scarce than an axe. The spot could have been a workshop with finished banners nearby. I found an archaic era galena loafstone factory in a field once but the next season's plowing obliterated all traces of the site, for now. :icon_sunny:
