Anyone know what kind of arrowhead this is exactly? It was found in central Indiana and is 4” long. Thanks in advance!

With the base gone it's hard to tell the type. The material is heated Burlington chert. That part is unmistakable.
Thank you very much for the info? If you had to take any guess on what it could be do you have any ideas? Dovetail, Benton, Graham Cave, Hopewell, Hemphill, or Hardin by chance? Those are ones that looks similar to me.

It is amazing how we are still finding them, this far along. Just imagine how many they have had to make that they broke or lost on a hunting trip....AMAZING.
 

Great looking point. Try posting it in the North American Indian Artifacts forum. Someone will identify it for you.
 

How do you find these places to hunt ? Then how do you hunt them ?
