I found these two in the same area on the point of a peninsula in the middle of Lake Of The Woods, Ontario Canada. I have tried to learn more about them but I am having a hard time figuring it.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. 26C9A5FA-395F-4EFF-820D-EA5C83553AB7.webp

Sorry that I can't help with the ID but congrats on finding some nice points!

Well I’ll take the easy one, it’s a trade metal arrowhead, being up north natives were exposed early on to French goods could go back to the 1500’s

#1 Looks to have a snap base so that's hard to tell, if #2 is metal it's possibly a trade point.

Could you post a few more pictures of the Flint piece please? It may just be a small Knife or a Scraper. Not sure about the metal piece.

Thank you for the replies. The metal one being a trading arrow makes sense. Here are some more pictures of the stone one which I am most curious about.

To me, (flintknapper) it looks like a small preform that was unfinished due to 2 flaws. One, the spot on the base and second, the step fractures on the edge that would prevent further knapping that edge. After the defects came to light, it was probably used as is, hand held. Just my guess. Gary
