Wow, spoke with him just a few months ago at the Cayuga Indiana artifact show and he was in good spirits at the time. Sad news.

Art was a fine man, and a friend to most collectors in Indiana, Kentucky and surrounding areas.

Unfortunately some of his wonderful history in our hobby will be overshadowed by the GE Mound incident, but out of the group involved he was the one motivated by a burning desire to protect relics from a bulldozer than by dollar signs. It's a shame that he was singled out like that.
