So I found this odd object on the farm where numerous civil war artifacts have popped up. It is brass on top and has numbers going around clockwise 1 through 10 with ten being marked as a zero. Or maybe its 0-9. It is attached to a fine threaded bolt piece with a point on the end. The whole thing is about two inches long. It has a punched dimple in the middle not unlike a fired primer. Anyone know what it is?

If it is a thin bolt with a point on the end it may be an idle/fuel adjustment knob off an old carburator.

I need to see a pic to confirm.
