Artillery Schrapnel Found "Pictures Now"
I have to say that since I moved from my Ace 250 to a Minelab Explorer SE my finds have picked up. Yesterday Ronin and I did some after work hunting and I finally found an artillery piece. It is the top of a parrot shell with the threading. He has found seven large pieces the last two times out as well. Also, the Minelab is really pulling out deeper minnies and musket balls.
I love my Ace 250 and still have it. I will definatly keep it, but for the relic hunting that I enjoy the most, the Minelab has been better. Will post some pics soon.
Looking forward to meeting some of you at the 2nd Pipsico hunt.
