That's a Taiwanese 5 New Dollars coin, struck in cupro-nickel between 1981-2019 (years 70-108 for the Chinese calendar). Portrait of Chiang Kai-shek on the obverse. Yours is year 78 (=1989)

I've seen the other replies to your post. Taiwan produced both silver and copper-nickel versions of both their dimes and nickels. I have examples of both in my small collection. From your photos, the coin appears to maybe have the blackened coating that dug silver coins get, there is a small chance it's silver and you may want to investigate it further.

Perhaps have the darkened covering that burrowed silver coins get, there is a little possibility it's silver and you might need to research it further.

I think there is as much chance of this 1989 coin being silver as there is of me clicking on the 'mail-order Asian brides' link at the bottom of your post.
