welcome home Jeff! hope you enjoy your stay!

Hope you have a good time. That piece of show buckle is cool. That was a fancy one.

That looks like a frame to a Colonial shoe buckle. Found in Missouri? Sweet! :headbang:

It is good to see you and the folks having a great time. Your parents have a beautiful house!

Awesome finds. After Virginia and Tennessee, Missouri was the next state with the most Civil War activity.

I'd have to say Georgia....with all the battles and campaigns through Northern Georgia to Atlanta, would rank right next to Tennessee as even for second. There were a few more battles fought in Tennessee than Georgia, but when talking about the size and scope of battles, there were just as many major engagements fought in Georgia under Genls. Johnston and Hood and against Shermans march to the Sea. It is true that most sources list Tenn. as second to Virginia and I'm not disputing that...Tennessee of course saw a great deal of battles...with battles such as Shiloh, Fort Donelson, Nashville, etc... But I agree that Missouri had a great deal of activity. I tell Jeff that all the time :icon_thumleft:

Nice lead ! :o :icon_thumleft: :headbang:

Keep @ it and HH !! ;D :D

Nice Finds Jeff!!! Is that a little brass cufflink? Here's what over 9 inches of rain from this weekend looks like from my house 35 miles NE of Nashville. HH, Quindy.
