At Last .........., I'm a Big Boy now

Hi Everyone.
Yes, I am one proud detectorist.
For so long now, I have read of this particular find by my fellow Tnet members, with deepening envy - Would I not ever find one
Is it just me? my (lack of) technique? Well, no longer need I worry
Earlier this week, was my wife's Birthday and what better way to spend it, than; both take the day off work, share a fancy lunch, send her window shopping while I hit the local beach, totally coincidentally at low tide.



We were at what should be a good 'bling beach', however I am aware the beach has many hunters - and it showed.
Still, nothing ventured, nothing gained

My first find was a fancy but cheap, pink bangle. The middle stuff was middling; finally I found THE CAR



I might even restore it

Just an old beach cleaner is me We THunters can all say, we should get credits for removing other people's 'footprints' from our world.

Great story and great looking place to hunt. I always enjoy going to a beach.

Glad you had a good time with your wife, looks like a great spot for a picnic.

Congrats on your car find, hope you can take it to all the antique car shows. LOL
