AT Pro disappearing signals

Target reads mid 60s, while "dialing in" with the coil it briefly shows an 80-82 then back to mid-60s, maybe bounces around a couple times. I dig the target and it's a spent, modern bullet. Check the hole with the ATP and Garrett carrot stick...hole is clear.

Why am I getting the high 80 reading?
