Detector(s) used
AT Pro & Ace 250
Got an AT Pro to replace my Ace 250 that was destroyed in a garage fire. Still learning it so I took it over to my ATV trails yesterday and wanted to see if I missed anything with the Ace 250 that this detector could locate. The section where the structure was had so much iron that the detector was going crazy and hard for me to determine good targets mixed with all the iron so I went up the hill a bit by a couple of shrubs that I had found some flat buttons before and my oldest coin to date, 1811 LC. I get up there and start detecting and get a few iron signals but nothing like near the structure. Got a good signal that was bouncing in the 50's and 60's so I dug and came out with a flat tombac button. I believe it to be a tombac but know someone here can verify. Has the silver look to it so figured tombac. This spot I have hit pretty hard with the 250 but the AT Pro was finding stuff that I missed. There was some iron around the buttons but when the AT Pro gave me VDI in the 60's I knew I had another button. In total yesterday morning I got 6 buttons and a part of a silver utensil handle. One of them has a pattern on it and looks pretty old, possibly colonial. Can someone verify it for me? Looks like a ring of crosses or + signs and another ring of = signs. There is some design in the center as well. Anyone have a photo editing software that can clean it up?
Went back out yesterday afternoon with my son and was able to grab at least 4 more buttons and an oval shaped thing with a square hole. Any ideas on what it is?

Enjoy the pics and please help verify dates, tombac, and design. Very pleased with the AT Pro. Fantastic detector!

Thanks in advance
