A silver ring should give a steady reading on the AT pro and may bounce 1 or 2 numbers up and down. Same with silver coins, should be pretty solid and consistent number reading. Try a factory reset. I found a silver ring on Friday and it was a solid 75, i thought I was digging another penny. Maybe a call to Garrett and tell them how it's acting. Mine is steady reading when I hit silvers.

Yeah I do the factory thing every time I turn it on.

Notice your silver ring shows as copper.

I'm going to have to test it a little tomorrow.

75 is still in the silver, gold and bronze reading. Smaller silver rings will read lower on the VDI scale.

Sometimes the Mexican rings are not always what they are marked unfortunately. Do a silver acid test to check

I agree. That's why I said I'd give the mark the (benefit of the doubt). Doesn't matter much of the metal mix to me. It goes in the jewelry heap.
