Prospectors with their outfits arriving at Hudson on the Canadian National Railways. From this point the Gold Diggers started on a 150 Mile trail to Red Lake Gold Fields of Ontario. The Rush to the region, with the opening of Spring, would rival any Gold Rush in American History at that time.

Any Gold Rush was filled with all sorts of losses and nasty conditions for those involved in the rushes. Zero easy living, Infinite amount of bugs and nasty ones at that, poor food, hard long hours of work, oiled tarps to keep out the rain (what they did with the wet ground I've no guesses) and yet a lot of them would still do it again for the next rush. They must have been crazy as it was only for gold. Oh wait, what about me(us) right now today!!
