Anyone ever doa headphone mod to the ATP//
I was thinking a wire from the headphone jack to the end of pole..where end cap is..
can you buy the garrett connectors male and female...
would like to keep the garrett pin connectors///
its the wires get in my way when i lay detector down....

Only one place in the world that I have found to buy the MALE connectors for the headphone and coil wires. And they do not know if the connectors will be waterproof. They do not have, nor do they know where one could obtain the FEMALE connector.
Anyway they are in Slovenia, Ukraine. Search eBay for: Headphone Adapter connector for Garrett AT PRO. There is only one day left on the current listing. Price is $35 each.

You would be better off buying the adaptor cable and making a waterproof splice. Any solder on connector will leak unless you pot the inside full of epoxy or something similar after the connection is made.
