Attention; You nugget fiends!

Is it a public area? I live an hour from there and can visit it but don't want to end up on private land or someone else's claims

There is a 'pay to play" operation on the creek. And flooding in Sonora is going on now.

You can always asks folks for permission to pan, sluice or whatever.

Man, if it was possible, I would drive up there tomorrow morning!

I can get on the big silver bird! But I have no idea where to go or what to do when I get there. I wish you the best.

It's pretty flooded right now though isn't it? I thought if there'd be larger nuggets there they'd still be at the flooded areas of the creek and we'd have to wait several more months for it to dry out.

Nuggets have been known to wash off the cliffs above the creek and found at the edge of the creek.

Woods Creek was my ground zero.

We've had a couple of storms that created gold moving events in Northern CA, I am looking forward to getting out when the creeks and rivers do go down some. Rain predicted again this weekend then we're supposed to get some nice weather for a while.

I don’t see any public areas. The only thing I see is the RV park that will let you pan if you are staying there. Any other thoughts?

Live in the area...it's all private land/and or mining claims.Every year after big storms this gets promoted by local business's.
