Aut Vincere Aut Mori Button

Button found yesterday in Lancaster, SC. Here are some better close up pics. Motto "AUT VINCERE AUT MORI" on front with a big "A" in center. Nothing on back. This is the motto of the First Fighter Wing.... Any info?

Many have used that motto. I would guess its an artillery button.
