Today I hunted an old church in center city Philadelphia. ..found 4large cent-1796-2-1820s-and a 1842...also found 2-2cent pieces. Not sure of the dates yet...and found a thick v nickel. Not sure of that date also. .and 3-iHs...Great Day.......
Pictures will follow after I clean them up a little. ..any suggestions on how to clean them

Of course I care, and I'm sure other people do as well. So George, did you ever get your coins cleaned, and what did you decide on using? Can you tell what the coins are as well as the dates. Or you could super glue them to the bottom of your tires. The cobblestones in old Philly will slowly wear the crud off!

Heat peroxide in microwave (careful) drop coins in, let cool, rinse and dry.
