I had a training seminar in a part of town I don't frequent, so afterwards I decided to hit a few of the banks still open in the 5pm hour. I ended up getting halves from three Chase branches:
#1 - $8.50 loose
#2 - $7.50 loose, $80 CWRs
#3 - $50 CWRs
I check all the loose and find nothing, and then turn to the CWRs. To my disappointment, I see all of the rolls from both branches have the mark of another hunter ("CAT") except for two. I look through all of the "CAT" rolls (skunked) and then turn to the two non-marked rolls. The first was a skunk, but imagine my surprise when I open the last roll and find 6 walking liberty halves (3 - 1942, 1 - 1943, 1 - 1945, 1 -
), 1 Ben Franklin half (1958), and 1 Kennedy 40% (1968)!
What an awesome trip! It seems that even amongst other hunters there are still great finds to be had.
