Hey guys, been reading this forum since I was a teenager back in 2006 and just recently decided to get back into the hunt and sign up on the boards! The city park I went to has multiple small ponds, and since we are suffering a drought here in Eastern Missouri the ponds were really low. This particular park also used to be a farm years ago (big red barns still stand). I decided to see what I could find with the detector, and ended up finding this halfway sticking out of the mud along with a handful of post 64' clad dimes and quarters. Pretty neat since its from St. Louis! I was just wondering if anyone could tell me more info and maybe an estimation on age/value? I still need to clean it up but I can see it is also stamped "This Bottle Never Sold". No chips or cracks at all! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like you got yourself a milk bottle . Congrats !

Very cool. I hope you can get back and find more.

Clean that up. See if there are some numbers on the base. It will let ya know when it was made at least. Definitely milk bottle. Probably before 1950. Any other embossing? Jgas
